Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background, earning a B.Sc. in Public Administration from the University of Maiduguri, an M.Sc. in International Transport from the University of Wales, and a Ph.D. in Maritime Technology from John Moores University.

He began his career in 1992 at the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) as a National Youth Service Corps trainee and later as a Marketing Officer. His exceptional management skills led to numerous roles, including Technical Assistant to the Managing Director and Port Manager at Onne Port Complex, where he spearheaded investor-friendly initiatives. In 2022, he was appointed Chief of Staff to the Honourable Minister of Transportation.

Dantsoho has chaired several important committees, contributed to key studies, and played a significant role in major projects, including the berthing of the Egina FPSO. A recipient of the NPA 25 Years Long Service Award, he continues to make impactful contributions to Nigeria’s port development.
