Mrs. Nialé Kaba holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Abidjan-Cocody and a Statistical Engineer and Economist degree from ENSAE Paris. She also has advanced diplomas in International Economics and Economic Policy Management.
Her career began as a lecturer in Abidjan, and she later served in various key governmental roles, including as Chief of Staff in multiple ministries. From 2012 to 2016, she was Côte d'Ivoire’s first female Minister of Economy and Finance, driving reforms that revitalized the country's economy, achieving an average growth rate of 9%.
She has led the Ministry of Planning and Development since 2016, overseeing national development plans and international collaborations. Notably, she chaired the African Development Bank’s Board of Governors from 2019 to 2020. A skilled negotiator, she is also a Member of Parliament and a key figure in Ivorian politics.
